I survived!!!

Working in the Income Tax business is fun, exciting, stressful, upsetting, the cause of sleep deprivation, the cause of ulcers, cool and awesome. We have wrapped up the "official" end to Tax Season and now there are just some loose end for all of my stores to take care of before we can relax a little. I have some good friends visiting from out of town in a couple weeks and that's when I will really "Celebrate"(drink like there is no tomorrow).

Boring day

Went to work.
Came home and walked the horse.
Went to dinner with the hubby.
Had a Martini. Yum!
Came home watched the Suns game.
Walked the horse.

Dallas Auto Show

The Hubby and I went to the Dallas Auto Show yesterday. We always make sure to see the Auto exhibit at the State Fair so we felt this would be fun as well. The main difference is that they sell beer at the State Fair so it was not quite the same experience. I did see my favorite car which was looking mighty sexy. I am going to buy a new car this summer, but after seeing my "Baby" I can hardly wait another day.

I am turning into my mother. I used to be able to sleep until noon everyday if my schedule allowed it. Don't even look for me to be up on a weekend before then. I never understood how Mom was awake at 6:00 am EVERY day. She worked for the family businesss and rarely got to work before 9 but everyday there she was making coffee and watching Good Morning America at the butt crack of dawn. She used to joke and say that she was getting old and that one day it would eventually happen to me. IT"S HERE! It is 5:50 AM and I have completed two reports for work and am posting a blog entry. All I need now is that ratty old Purple robe and to start watching soap operas and it's official. I am my Mother!
